Climate

Climate 

Kyrgyzstan has a continental climate with relatively small amount of rainfalls each year. It has 247 sunny days per year at average. In mountainous areas, the mornings are normally fine and the afternoons can become cloudy with some rain. In lowlands, the temperature varies between 16° and 24°C (61-75°F) in July and between -6° and -5°C (21-25°F) in January. In highlands, the temperatures varies between 8° and 13°C (46-55°F) in July  to between -20° and -14°C (-4-7°F) in January. Winters can be described with heavy snowfalls.
