Heli-Ski tours

If you are experienced ski runner, then you will be able to heli-ski with us on our heli-ski program. If you have ever thought of going heli-skiing in the mountains; if you have seen the movies of it and  don't doubted your ability to do it yourself - well you can go heli-skiing or heli-boarding with us in Tien-Shan mountains where the powder snow is quite deep, the air is fresh and the experience exhilarating. Enjoy high mountains over 4000 meters and fantastic views. Up to 1200 vertical meters of different terrain includes glacier snowfields, ridges and cols. Mostly the area has no ski development and many side valleys and mountains are not very attended but have good places to land the helicopter on high mountain passes, ridges and glaciers where it is possible to start descents. Then the helicopter takes the group to another place. On a good day it is possible to make about 6 trips similar to these. Your guide will choose a terrain within a zone according to snowfall, the weather, and experience of your group. We employ three guides for this program. The guides carry radio and can contact with the helicopter or the mountain rescue. They also carry medicine chest. We fly the MI-8-MTB helicopters, which are famous in many countries as good and reliable helicopters. They are powered by two turbo-engines and have a carrying capability of 2 tons. It is able to carry 15 skiers and boarders, depending on weight, plus the guides and two pilots. Two pilots fly the MI-8-MTB, which means extra safety. You can be sure that the helicopters are flown by very experienced pilots, who are very experienced especially in heli ski and mountain rescue flying.
