While following your tour program, you will get an acquaintance with Kyrgyz customs and culture; try the traditional drink Kumis (mare's milk) and some particular Kyrgyz dishes. In Kyrgyz language there is a saying "Horses are men's wings". During the great period of time horses played a very important part in the life of nomads, because it was almost impossible to survive without a horse in mountainous country. Tour summary: Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley From Manas International Airport you will be collected and accompanied by your guide to Bishkek. The drive till Bishkek city takes 30 minutes. Upon arrival you will start the day with a breakfast. This day will be entirely dedicated to a guided Bishkek city tour. This sightseeing tour includes the visiting of Ala-Too Central Square, the History Museum, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), The Museum of Fine Arts, Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Philharmonic, Oriental Osh Bazaar, and many other places that will attract your attention. After city tour you will be transferred to the Chon Kemin valley to the Guesthouse of Kalmak - Ashuu, where you also will spend the night. Dinner will be served at 7 pm. En route we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbans - stone warriors. Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - gorge Kitchi Kyzyl Suu At 7 o'clock your breakfast will be served. After breakfast, you will start your trip to Kitchi Kyzyl Suu by vehicle. During our trip we will go along the southern shore of the Celestial Issyk-Kul Lake(1608m.above sea level). Lake - Issik Kul is the second largest alpine lake in the world. This lake is very often called "the pearl of Central Asia". After arrival in the gorgeous Kitshi Kyzyl Suu gorge you will have a horseback riding. In Kichi Kyzyl Suu you can try Kyrgyz staple national drink - Kumis - fermented mare's milk. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. Overnight is in tents. Day 3: Kitchi Kyzyl Suu - Kashka-Suu Lake At 8 o'clock is breakfast. Pack your backpacks. Today, you will ride to Kashka-Suu Pass (3891m. a. s. l.). You will take your lunch there. After that you will ride your to the lake for 6 hours. This lake is called Kashka-Suu; it finds its origin in the glacier that is why the water in the lake is sparkling and pure. Kashka - Suu is situated at 3800 meters high a. s. l. Dinner will be served at 7 o' clock in the evening. Overnight stay is in the tent camp. Day 4: Lake Kashka-Suu - river Kumtor (3012m) After a strengthening breakfast you will start horse riding among Ak - Shirak Mountains to Kumtor river (6h). The River of Kumtor is the most well-known place for gold diggers. Even in nowadays there are some people who try to find out gold there. Ak - Shirak Mountains are covered with snow even in high summer. You will be surprised by the changeable weather of this place. The weather can change from summer heat to winter snow within 20 minutes. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. This night will be spent near the Central Tien Shan observatory in tents. Day 5: Kumtor - Arabel Suu The day starts with a breakfast at 8 o'clock. Afterwards you will ride your horse along Arabel Suu River (5h). After taking a traditional lunch, we will continue to the valley of mountain lakes. Dinner and night near the Arabel Suu River in tents. There is the valley of eight lakes. They are situated nearby to each other and you can see all of them simultaneously. It makes unforgettable feelings to walk there. Day 6: Arabel Suu - Chokoli Lakes (3006m) Your breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock in the morning. So, we continue our horseback riding to the Chokoli Lakes. Also you will visit a glacier not far from the mountain lake. With a bit of fortune you can see Marco Polo sheep and ibexes there. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will have this overnight in tents near the lake. Day 7: Chokoli Lakes - Bishkek (by car) You breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock in the morning. After packing your baggage you will be transferred to Bishkek city by car. We will be in Bishkek in a Hotel*** at around 5 p.m., where you will have free time for yourself. At 7 p.m. your guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will go to have a farewell dinner in a restaurant. Day 8: Flight home Your guide will collect you from the Hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompany you to the International Airport of Manas. | ||
