Glaciers

Glaciers are the essential part of Kyrgyzstan, they never melt, and these are just sheets of snow. In a tour in the country it is going to be interesting to know that glaciers move at a rate of 3-40cm in a day.   The sites where they move are known to be Ice Rivers. Boarders are free to travel in the country and note that glaciers cover 30% of the area of the country, and mainly the surface area is covered with 4% of glaciers in the republic.

Those who pick up Kyrgyzstan tours know that it is of great and extreme necessity to be careful as nature is unpredictable. At the same time interesting fact is that in case glaciers start to melt the water will cover the entire territory of the country at the depth of 3m. So this situation shows that no Kyrgyzstan tours will be made but for now everything is great and no one should worry.
