Khan Tengri

There are a lot of peculiar sites in Kyrgyzstan and about all we want our guests to know, but first is Khan Tengri. It is the peak located in the region of Issyk Kul near the border with Kazakhstan. Khan Tengri is 6995m above sea level reaching 7010m with the cap of ice. It is possible to get going the tour and travel along the sites of the peak.

It is seen as having a local name - Kan Tau (Blood Mountain). Our company supposes it is described by the red color of sunsets here or by the great amount of deaths on the peak. As there were made a lot of failed attempts to vault the top, and the first successful one was made by the team from Ukraine in 1931. Organizing Kyrgyzstan tours all should know that previously it was rather problematic to get into the mountains. Since 1989 the situation became easier.  There are various opportunities to create routes going along the mountain, along Enilchek Glacier and which covers the mystery of Merzbacher lakes.
