The weather in the mountains varies according to elevation. During his 1871 tour, A.P. Fedchanko studied the area and named the peak. To honor its 50th anniversary, the 301 expedition jumped in 1967. As a result of this vaulting, the general public became aware of the presence of over 16 unique pathways.
