We prepared a special tour that will take place on the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake.  We want to present you a perfect tour for tourists who like nature and trekking. Welcome to our Celestial Kyrgyzstan!  Throughout this tour you will see our famous lake and real nomads. You will sleep not only in guesthouses but also in yurts - nomadic habitations made of wood and sheep wool.


Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
Meeting at Manas International Airport. You will be accompanied to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you start the day with a breakfast. After accommodation in a hotel*** that is situated in a calm ward of the city you will have a break. Afterwards you will have an outing to Natural Park Ala-Archa. It is located in the Ala-Arch gorge, on the Kyrgyz ridge (a spur of Tien-Shan), in 45 km from Bishkek - capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will go to the top of a mountain to have a nice view of this celebrated gorge. Returing to Bishkek. Night in a Hotel***.Traditional cooking will be served at 7 p.m. 

Day 2: Bishkek - Jukku gorge
Breakfast will be served at 7 o'clock. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Jukku gorge by bus and you will be told by your guide about nomads' life, mores and their extraordinary background. On the way, we will drive through the stunning Boom canyon. Then will continue our way to the Jukku gorge along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake, which is second largest mountainous lake in the world that is at the altitude of 1608 m. above sea level. The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". On the way we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). When we arrive in Jukku canyon you will have hiking through the gorge to our camp. Dinner will be served in the tent camp, where you will also spend the nighttime. 
 
Day 3: Jukku gorge
Today you will have adaptation in Jukku gorge, and familiarization with its nature on your own. There are amazing mountains, red rocks, and a cave that is called "500 rams". It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. You will be able to hike along the incredible ravine to take a bath in mineral hot water springs; go on its nearest peaks, visit red mountains or just relax in the atmosphere of calm nature. Because there are nomads who still inhabit in yurts and come to this summer pastures (jailoo) with their lifestock and they are very hospitable and pleasant. Optionally you could try national drink Kumis (fermented mare's milk) there. National dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will see the way of national food preparing and you will have a chance even to participate in it to be closer to the life of local nomadic people.   
 
Day 4: Jukku gorge (2520m above sea level) - Chon Kyzyl Suu
After breakfast we are off for a walk through the Jukku canyon to the gorge Chon Kyzyl Suu. You will hike along the Great Silk Road just as well as ancient merchants did. During this unforgettable excursion you will see our heavenly mountains and terrific views of its pristine nature. You will stop for a night at the campsite based right in the gorge. 
 
Day 5: Chon Kyzyl Suu
You will feel as if you are 1000 thousand years ago in wild Tian Shan Mountains. This place is so distant from civilization and you can relax completely there. After a delicous breakfast, we leave the camp at 9 am and start our hiking tour to the marvelous Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After your lunch you will have an ascent to an amazing mountain lake, which finds its origin in a glacier. With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats, ibex. After enjoying the view of the alpine lake we come back to the station. Our cooks will instruct you the way of national meals making. You can even participate in the method of national dish "plov" preparation. 
 
Day 6: Chon Kyzyl Suu - Djeti Oguz
After a delicious traditional breakfast we will start our way to notable Djeti Oguz gorge. You will have hiking along bravura places and you will be surprised who variable our mountains. They views alter so fast that you cannot even notice how the moments passes. 
 
Day 7: Djeti Oguz - Oguz Bashi - Djeti Oguz
Today you will have hiking up to the Oguz Bashi glacier. You will see many yurts, collapsible felt habitation of nomads on the way. It is made of a made of wood skeleton that is covered by felt. You will have a nice picnic with a view of the glacier. Then we will return to camp. 
 
Day 8: Djeti Oguz
In the morning you will have time to walk in this charming gorge. You will have a number of guides and that is why you can choose what to do. Some of you can hike to a mountain cascade; others can go down the gorge to a resort that was built in Soviet time. It will be possible to take a bath with hot springs and have massage session there if you desire. Or you can hike to the Red rocks that have unusual forms. Because of these rocks the entire gorge was named. Djeti Oguz means "7 bulls". Indeed it looks like huge bulls from a far distance. Also you will see there the Broken Heart Mountain and your guides will tell you a beautiful legend about it. You can also participate in its making to reveal all secrets of nomadic cuisine. Enjoy Kyrgyz Folklore show during your leave-taking mountain dinner and listen to our nomadic songs and curious national Kyrgyz instruments. In the evening you will taste our national meal - kurdak. 
 
Day 9: Djeti Oguz - Issyk Kul Lake
You are to be served breakfast at 9 o'clock after packing your backpacks, afterward you will have hiking downward to the Djeti Oguz gorge, which  has a nice mountain water streem of the same name that flows along the whole gorge. When we will come to the foot of the gorge you can walk for fifteen minutes on the peak of the nearby mountain - there is a scenic sight on Djeti Oguz rocks and red cliffs around! Then you will be transferred to the northern shore of the Issyk Kul Lake which is second largest mountain lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". Dinner is to be served in the hotel, where you are to stay for this night.

Day 10: Issyk Kul - Bishkek
You will have breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then we start our trip back to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). In Bishkek you will have time to go for a walk around the city and to buy souvenirs.  At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served. 
 
Day 11: Flight home
Early morning departure. You will be transferred to the airport for your Flight.
