Day 1: Dushanbe
Unknown Tajikistan Tour 7 is glad to be your assistant on tours. Our driver will meet you in the airport and accompany to Dushanbe. Today you will have the city tour. We will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then we will walk in National park to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Visit the Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Don't miss to visit Asian bazar. We hope you like to see oriental goods. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Hissor - Dushanbe
Drive 35 km to visit Hisor fortress (VII-XVII centuries) used to be the house of the representative of the Emir of Bukhara. It was located on a high hill and was well defended with 1 m thick walls and loopholes for guns. There was a pool and a garden and across from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. In addition, you will see monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" (16th-17th centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). Drive back to Dushanbe and visit Botanical garden and Victory Park with a panorama view on the city. Night is in a hotel.

Day 3: Dushanbe - Khujand
We will travel to Khujand city. It is the second largest city of Tajikistan located on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. The population of the city is 149,000. In addition, it is the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan or Sughd. The tour will be continued visiting a Cultural Palace of Khujant. In general, the first president of Tajikistan was chosen over there. End your day by visiting the Central Mosque that is located in the middle of the city. Transfer to a hotel.
 
Day 4: Khudjand - Istaravshan - Khudjand
Today we will drive 100 km to Istaravshan old city. Istravshan is a primeval center of trade and craft of the ancient cities in Central Asia. It is actually a museum city with its history of the II-VI cc BC. In Persian literature the city was known as Kurukuda, In Sogdian earliest records as Kurushkuda while contemporary scholars classify it with Cyruspol or Cyrus Eskhata originated in VI century BC by Cyrus the Great. We will visit Mugtepa, the fifteenth century Kuk Gumbaz Mosque and local bazaar. Learn more about colorful oriental bazaars, visit grandiose fortresses, and adore special architecture of mosques and mausoleums. We will drive back to Khujand. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 5: Khujand - Penjakent
In the morning you will drive to Penjakent by pass Shahriston (3 378 m). Penjakent ("five villages") is located in Khujand area of Tajikistan in a charming Zeravshan river valley appeared in the 5th-8th centuries AD. Penjikent of that time was one of the most vital cultural and crafts centers of Sogd, also called the "Central Asian Pompeii". It was an excellently reinvigorated well-organized city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decked with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. The carcasses of this ancient city were found only in the last century. Travelers can see the remains of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Rest is in a hotel.

Day 6: Penjakent - Dushanbe
Today you will drive to Dushanbe via Anzob pass (3 372 m) and tunnel of Isticlol. The way will go by a mountain passes for having many photo stops. On arrival to Dushanbe, night is in a hotel.

Day 7: Dushanbe - Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport. Unknown Tajikistan Tour 7 is over. It was pleasant time on tours with you.
