Day 1: Dushanbe
Unknown Tajikistan Tour 8 welcome you in Tajikistan. We prepared outstanding days on tours. You will be met at the airport and travel to Dushanbe. Today you will have a guided city tour and visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. We will walk in National park to see the Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then we will drive to Central Museum and visit to Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Don't miss to visit Asian bazaar and learn more about oriental lifestyle. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
In the morning we will travel to Kalai Khum village through mountain road. You will drive over high Khoburubot Pass of 3 252 or Western Pamir Tract. The highway goes over the most attractive river valley and incredible gorges in the terrain. Here we will see small villages and meet local people. Tajiks are very kind and hospitable. You will be impressed by their ethnic and cultural diversity enchanted by the beauty of wild nature. Rest is in a homestay.

Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
On this day of tour, we will drive to Khorog surrounded by rocky mountains from all four wings. The town was built on the confluence of the 3 rivers where Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. On the way to Khorog we will get acquainted with Pamir people. They are famous for blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Pamirs Mountains are the highest mountains in the world with human population after the Himalayas in Tibet. Overnight is in a guesthouse.

Day 4: Khorog - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake
This tour will start by visiting the most beautiful lakes of the Pamirs as Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes), overextended on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level, are located in the Murghab district. The color of water in Bulunkul is a subtle of violet and dark-blue in the sunlight. There are a lot of fish in the lake. In addition, you will see yaks which are unique species of domestic animals giving milk and meat products. On the way to the lake you will drive over Koitezak pass of 4 271 m. Rest is in a homestay.

Day 5: Bulunkul - Khorog
Today we will travel to Khorog lengthways Pamir Highway, known as M41 Pamir Tract. It is measured the second highest mountain road after highway of Tibet. The road is located over mountains and passes on the elevations of more than 4 000 meters above sea level. The almost unreachable landscape and the rocky mountains of this corner of the world have given safe haven to a exclusive variety of wildlife. Amongst the most common species of wild mammals are Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. Pamirs delivers a large and thriving population of Marco Polo sheep, the biggest sheep in the world, with all year round and a strong population of the highly rare snow leopard. Night is in a guesthouse.

Day 6: Khorog - Kalai Khum
We will drive from Khorog to Kalai Khum. This area has high rocky mountains over 6 000 meters. Driving though the Pamirs, the tourists will be impressed by the beauty of virgin environment, history and everyday life of mountain dwellers. We will stop in small villages to communicate with local people and learn more about their life. In addition, you will see Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a home stay.

Day 7: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
Today we will drive to Dushanbe along Afghanistan border by Shuraba pass (2 267 m). This part will astonish you by its distinctive mountains of the Territory of Pamir Mountains. The Pamirs have encouraged the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. We will drive along natural border as Pyanj River. Having holiday at the Pamirs, many travelers called this huge mountain system the ocean of white and blue mountains. You will see Norak water reservoir or Tajik Sea. Night is in a hotel.

Day 8: Dushanbe - Airport
