Day 1: Asgabat
You will be met and transferred to the capital of Turkmenistan to start your Unknown Turkmenistan Tour 6. Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow-Ata - Nokhur - Balkanabat
In course of the tour you will be transferred to the Kow-Ata . This incredible underground lake can be translated as the Father of caves. Upon reaching the inside of it you will see the magnificent auditorium. The bottom of which is covered with lumps of dissolved limestone (stalagmites), and its warm and gushing water is clear and emerald colored. Later on you will be transferred to Nokhur that is located in the small depression valley in the mountains of the Kopet Dag Range. The houses of this place are made of cement with mud. You will be amazed by the narrow streets that can fit only a car between the high stone retaining walls on each side. The Nohkuri people who populate this remote mountain village are quite different to other Turkmen tribes. Then continue our way to Balkanabat.
Day 3: Balkanabat - Yangykala - Gozli-Ata - Turkmenbashy - Awaza
In course of the travel you will head on to Yangykala. During the tour you will learn that the name of his place means the "fire fortresses". You will verify it by observing the sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors that were made by time, winds and rains. Due to the interesting shapes you will be impressed by the similarity to the stone castles from fairy tales. The color at sunset will make your travel here unforgettable. Later on you will drive to "Gozli Ata" pilgrimage place. The next site for visiting is the Turkmenbashy but before the tourist zone Awaza where you can relax at the shore of the Caspian Sea. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Awaza - Ashgabat
The Caspian Sea is one of the most popular tourist places for tours. Later on you will have a local flight to Ashgabat city. Upon arrival you will have a guided city tour. Night is in the hotel.
Day 5: Flight
Night transfer to the Ashgabat International Airport to board a flight to next destination.
