Day 1: Tashkent
Upon arrival you will be transferred to the capital of Uzbekistan. There you will have a guided city tour where you will learn the history of this city. The tour will start with visiting the Independence square that was erected as the token of the victory over fascism in World War II. Here you will be able to stroll along the famous local street that is known as the local Broadway that separates the Independence square and Amir Timur square. Then you will visit the famous due its beauty Tashkent metro the line of which was opened in 1977. Later on you will drive to the old part of the city where you will investigate such interesting sights as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex which has several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. Moreover you will visit the highlight of the city like Othman Quran. It is the world's oldest Quran copy found in the 8th century. The night will be spent in the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent - Bukhara (flight or train)
In course of the tour you will have a morning flight to Bukhara. Upon arrival you will explore the most prominent sights of the city. Today you will see the most ancient citadel of Bukhara that is known as the Citadel Ark of 4th century. You will be impressed to learn that this site used to be a palace for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Later ion you will see the masterpiece of 9th - 10th centuries that is known as Samanids mausoleum. Then you will visit Chashma Ayub (Job's well) and Bolo-Hauz mosque. This site is famous due to the forty columns built in honor of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. Moreover you will see one of the most beautiful madrasah of Bukhara that is known as Nodir Divan Begi that tis also a part of famous Lyabi House Ensemble. The next destination of the tour is Poi Kalon complex that is consist of three structures of the 12th - 16th centuries as: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Today you will have the night in the hotel.
Day 3: Bukhara - Shahrisabs - Samarkand
Today during the tour you will explore the birthplace of Amir Timur. In the morning you will drive to Shahrisabs where you will see such incredible places as Ak Saray Palace, built by Amir Timur. Tours to this place are quite popular due to the rich history of this site. While exploring it you will see the note on the main portal of the Palace: "If you want to know about our power, look at our buildings". After it you will investigate the Jahongir mausoleum that was built in memory of the eldest son of Amir Timur. He died in the age of 20 due to it Amir Timur mourned for 30 years. Later on you will visit Shahrisabs, the Dorus Siadat and Dorus Tillavat memorial complexes where all progenies and relatives of Amir Timur were repressed. You will travel Samarkand. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Samarkand
In the morning you will travel to Samarkand. This fascinating city is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan. Moreover this is the second largest city of Uzbekistan that is a contemporary of the cities of Babylon or Rome. Here you will be able to investigate such place as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. The first sight to visit is the Registan Square that is known for its three unique Madrasahs of the 15th -17th centuries. You will be mesmerized by their beauty. Then it is the collection of mausoleums of Shakhi-Zindeh that dated back to the 11th -15th centuries. This site is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Talking of Bibi Khanum Mosque, it was built for the favorite Tamerlane's wife, after his fortune deal in India. Today you will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 5: Samarkand - Tashkent
Today you will further explore Samarkand. Here you will see the famous Ulughbek observatory of 15th century. This site was built by the order of Ulughbek who was one of the most famous Samarkand leaders and researchers. Due to this observatory he created in 1437 a catalog the name of which the "Zidji Guragoni". You will be impressed to know that there was information about 1018 celestial bodies. He was killed by the order of his son. Then you will visit the local Broadway where you can see a lot of souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets, workshops and many other interesting things. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the National bazaar Siab here you will witness the Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. Moreover you will explore a carpet factory of 400 women. You will have transfer to Tashkent in the evening by train. Night is in a hotel.
