Day 1: Tashkent
Welcome to Unknown Uzbekistan Tour 8. Upon arrival to airport you will be met and transferred to Tashkent city for sightseeing tour. In course of the travel you will visit the Independence square. It is the main square of the city that was built as a symbol of victory over fascism in World War II. Next sight is the local Broadway that divides the Independence square and Amir Timur square. The Tashkent metro is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. The first line of this wonderful sight was opened in 1977. Later on you will continue your Unknown Uzbekistan Tour 8 in the old part of the city which includes: Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that consists of several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. But the main sight of the tours in capital of Uzbeklistan is the world's oldest Quran copy dating back to 8th c. Quran belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph (of the four righteous Caliphs who succeeded the prophet Muhammad) ho was killed by hand of 8th century. Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand city tour
Today you will have morning train to Samarkand. Upon arrival you will find out that the second largest city of Uzbekistan is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan. Moreover it is worthy to note that the age of it is similar to cities of Babylon or Rome. During the tour you will witness the most prominent sights of the city like Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. The first sight is the Registan Square here you will see three fascinating Madrasahs of the 15-17th centuries. This sight is known in tours to Uzbekistan as the one of the most fascinating. Then is the Shakhi-Zindeh, it is a big collection of mausoleums of the 11th-15 centuries. It is also a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 3: Samarkand - Urgut - Samarkand
In course of the tour you will head on to Urgut village. Even being small village there you can enjoy its famous colorful bazaar. After it you will drive to Samarkand and further to another village. Upon arrival you will have an opportunity to explore the memorial complex of Al Bukhary. In course of the tour you will learn that Al Bukhary was an Islamic scholar, who authored the hadith collection known as Sahih al-Bukhari, regarded by Sunni Muslims as one of the most authentic Hadith collections. He has other prominent works as Al-Adab al-Mufrad. Night is in a hotel.

Day 4: Samarkand - Shahrisabs - Bukhara
Today you will have a morning drive to Shahrisabs town. This place is known as the birthplace of Amir Timur. Here you will have a sightseeing tour to see its major sights. You will visit the Ak Saray Palace which was built by Amir Timur. This palace is known as the most beautiful. On the main portal you will see the inscription that tells: "If you want to know about our power, look at our buildings". After it you will drive to Jahongir mausoleum that was built in memory of the eldest son of Amir Timur, who died in battlefield at ten age of twenty. It's says that after the death of his son the ruler has mourned for a long time (many say that his grief has lasted for 30 years). Then you will see the Dorus Siadat and Dorus Tillavat memorial complexes where all descendants and relatives of Amir Timur were buried. After exploring the most prominent sights of this place you will drive to Bukhara. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 5: Bukhara city tour
The day is dedicated to the guided tour in Bukhara city. The first sight for visiting is the most ancient citadel in Bukhara of the 4th century named Citadel Ark. This prominent sight used to be a palace for Bukhara Empire. Next sight of the tour is the Samanids mausoleum that is considered to be a masterpiece of 9th -10th century. After it you will see the other sight of the city that are known as the Chashma Ayub (Job's well) and Bolo-Hauz mosque. The mosque of forty columns was built in honor of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. After it you will have a chance to visit the shopping domes and Nodir Divan Begi madrasah. It is also a part of Lyabi House Ensemble that is famous sight in tours to Bukhara. At the end of the tour you will visit the Poi Kalon complex. It is an exceptional example of masterwork of architectural art of Bukhara. Day 6: Bukhara
In course of the travel you will explore the near sights of Bukhara city. The first to drive is the Gijduvan village. The tours to this place are very popular due to the famous private pottery workshop. The ceramic school of this village has deep roots. During the tour you will know that the knowledge of making ceramic products is passed through generation to generation. Nowadays you will meet the sixth generation of potters from Narzullayevs family. They returned the fame of this school among the world. The main features of their works are geometric pattern and green, blue colors that are prevail in decoration. After it you will visit the Varahsha village that used to be the capital of Bukhara region, as well as the Vabkent that are known due to the minaret of the 1196-1198, under the reign of Ala ad-Din Tekish. Return to Bukhara for overnight. Night is in a hotel.

Day 7: Bukhara - Tashkent
In course of the tour you will continue to explore the surrounding area of Bukhara. You will start you fascinating tour visiting Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex that was built in honor of Sufi Leader and Philosopher. Nowadays it is known as the one of the main places of Muslim pilgrimage places for all people of Islamic world. It is worthy to note that Sheikh Bakhauddin Nakshbandi was one of the spiritual masters of Amir Timur. Here you will see the Kushbegi and Muzafarohana mosques, courtyard with pool, madrasah, and burial vault of Bukhara rulers and Dakhma upon the tomb of Saint Bakhauddin Nakshbandi. After it you will visit sight that was built in mix of different styles. Moreover you will know that the name of this palace is Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex that can be translated as "Star - like and moon- like Palace". It was built in honor of the wife of Emir who died young. After excursions we will transfer to Bukhara airport for flight to Tashkent. Night is in a hotel.
