Issyk Ata gorge

Issyk Ata is a well-known gorge that has hot springs. It takes just two hours to get there. It is a gorgeous gorge and you can have a light track to a mountain waterfall. There is a small pass that brings you to it. Then you can have a picnic nearby. Also as an option you can go to an open swimming pool with mineral hot springs. You will swim there and enjoy the view of mountains around!

 

Program:

9.00 a.m.    You will be met by your guide.

11.00 a.m. We arrive in the gorge Issyk Ata. This name stands for Hot Spring as there are several thermal springs. There was built a special resort to treat people with them. The resort still works and people come here to swim in a special swimming pool and to drink the water.

11.20 a.m.   We start our short trip to the waterfall. On the way we will visit the image of Buddha engraved on a big stone that. In old time many Buddhists came here. This place even considered to be a sacred one.

1.30 p.m.     We reach the waterfall.

2.00 p.m.     Lunch time

4.00 p.m.   You will be transferred back in the hotel.
